If you are like me, you probably have complained about Covid-19 hundreds of times during the past months! Have you?
And have you ever paused just before, in the middle of, or right after complaining to ask yourself how complaining will help you?
If you had, great! You probably don’t need to read this post.
If you hadn’t, I invite you to do so. Today.
Write yourself a post-it, set a reminder on your mobile, ask your partner to stop you, do what you need to do to catch yourself complaining. Then, at that moment, compassionately ask yourself if complaining will help you in any way.
Last week I wrote twice about creating your future, so let me tell you more about it. COMPLAINING is the opposite of CREATION!
If you are complaining, you are not thinking about solutions. Instead, you are focused on the problem. I assure you that your problems will not run away because they get scared of your complaints. They’ll run away when you came up with a solution and put it into action.
I invite you to set an intention to catch yourself complaining at least once today. When you do, pause. Then ask yourself:
Will complaining help me?
Then find a solution and bring it to action.
