Now that we all have rested and perhaps even took a self-improvement vacation over Easter (check out my last post) let’s get back into self-questioning mode.
I invite you to imagine giving up your job today. Yes, today is the last day at your current job!
Take a moment to imagine that. Close your eyes if it helps. Make it real.
Then ask yourself the following questions.
If I am not trying to get anywhere…
– What do I want to do with my time over the next few months?
– What do I want to do with my time over the next few years?
– If I make my working decisions based on my passions, values, and desires, what do I choose to work on next?
If what you want to do is similar to your former professional life, that is great. Congratulations on living your passion. No need to read further.
If what you want to do is NOT similar to your former career, answer with complete honestly one more question.
When am I going to stop living life like I am never going to die?
Love. Simone
Here is my reflection: Since I already love what I do and do what I love, further shaping my life to my liking means including more fun activities daily. Studying, travelling, attending meditation retreats, depending on where I am based: surfing/diving/snowboarding/trekking, visiting friends & family around the world, meeting new people, and most importantly, keep making a profound positive impact on the life of individuals!
