If you do, you are not alone, and it’s easy to understand why: we are social creatures.
The good thing is that the key to better relationships lies within you. If you want to create new meaningful relationships or deepen those you already have, you first want to cultivate a better relationship with yourself.
Trust me. I’ve gone through it myself.
Your thoughts define your life experience, and that becomes your reality. So first, let’s raise your awareness. Let’s shine a light on the stories your mind is making up that are getting in your way.
Recall the thoughts you have, or recently had, about a relationship you want to improve. Write them down. Then, ask yourself: In the context of these thoughts, what is the story that my mind is making up about myself?
A few examples are: I cannot be myself, I am insecure, I am dependant, I deserve better, I am needy, etc.
What we are pointing out here is what lies within you that is not helping your relationship grow healthy.
Being aware of those stories, it’s a significant first step!
There are more steps to the process, and if you want to go deeper, I will walk you through them in my next free workshop (link in comments).
I’d love to see you there!
