***This interactive post simulates a coaching session, inviting reflection through questions. Dedicate 15 minutes for full impact.***
As we bid farewell to the first quarter of the year, it’s a pivotal moment to pause and reflect on our goals for the year. This is not just a routine exercise, but a powerful tool to steer our actions towards achieving them. In this spirit, I’m here to do what I do best: ask deep, provocative questions that might lead to valuable insights, clarity, and motivation.
Before we embark on our future-thinking journey, let’s take a moment to celebrate your achievements. This is a ritual I follow at the beginning of each coaching session, as it not only acknowledges your progress but also boosts your confidence and motivation, reminding you of your ability to set and achieve goals.
I invite you to look back at the last three months and write down the first three things that pop into your mind and bring a smile to your face. It can be an achievement, a milestone you accomplished, something going well in your life, an amazing thing happening, something you created, etc.
Please, take a moment to write them down.
Awesome. Now that you have created a feeling of appreciation for your past and your life, we can look at the future.
I’ll share five questions with you. I invite you to answer them one by one, closing your eyes and taking six very slow and deep breaths before responding to each. This step is crucial; it enables you to decelerate, connect with your body, and tap into your inner wisdom. The breathing is designed to foster a sense of calm and focus, allowing you to answer the questions more authentically and thoughtfully.
The first response that comes to mind is the correct one. Avoid overthinking.
Ready?
Close your eyes and take six slow, deep breaths, focusing on the airflow in and out of your body.
Question 1: If you had no fears, what would you pursue in the next nine months?
Please, write it down.
Close your eyes and take six slow, deep breaths while observing the airflow in and out of your body.
Question 2: What actions would you take in the next nine months if you completely trusted yourself?
Please, write it down.

Question 3: Imagine 2024 coming to a close, and you feel an immense sense of contentment. What would be the most significant accomplishment that would bring you pride, success, and satisfaction?

Question 4: What is one thing you want to stop doing now?

Question 5: What is one thing you want to start doing right away?

If you got to this point following the instructions, be proud. Taking quality time to reflect on and plan your life is a form of self-love and self-care.
How did it go?
Have you got any valuable insights or discoveries?
What is one action you will take as a consequence of this reflection?
Remember, there are no correct or incorrect responses. It’s all about your personal journey and development. I’m here to support you at every step.
Love,
Simone
